Beekeeping exams

I took the BBKA basic assessment on Sunday 8 July 2012 at the Ealing beekeepers’ apiary in Perivale. It is the first step on the path to BBKA examinations and perhaps one day becoming a Master Beekeeper! That is, if I pass…

The British Beekeepers Association (BBKA) is an educational charity set up in 1874, and is the UK’s leading organisation representing beekeepers. The BBKA supports beekeepers at every stage of their development from beginners to intermediate to advanced, and sets standards in education and practice for beekeepers.

These pages will record my revision notes from taking BBKA assessments and examinations, and links to other useful resources for beekeepers studying for their exams.
